Neal Bhatia, MD

Dr. Neal Bhatia is a board-certified dermatologist and the Director of Clinical Dermatology and Principal Investigator at Therapeutics Clinical Research in San Diego, California. With over two decades of clinical experience, Dr. Bhatia specializes in medical dermatology, the immunobiology of the skin, and novel clinical trials evaluating advanced therapeutic mechanisms across a broad spectrum of dermatologic conditions.

A prominent national leader in the specialty, Dr. Bhatia serves as Chief Medical Editor for Practical Dermatology. He is a past Vice President and former member of the Board of Directors for the American Academy of Dermatology (AAD), and has served as Secretary/Treasurer for the Noah Worcester Dermatological Society. He is widely published in peer-reviewed journals and lectures extensively on medical therapeutics, skin cancer, and inflammatory diseases.

Dr. Bhatia earned dual degrees in bacteriology and genetics and his medical degree from the University of Wisconsin, followed by dermatology residency training at the Medical College of Wisconsin.
