John Burns, PAC

Born in Natchitoches, Louisiana, John Burns completed his secondary schooling at Northwestern State University of Louisiana where he received a Bachelor of Science in biology with a minor in chemistry. After attending the LSU Health Science Center Physician Assistant Program from 1999-2001 and working for the dermatology service at the Overton Brooks VA Medical Center, he completed a dermatology fellowship at University of Texas Southwestern in 2007-2008. He is the acting dermoscopy section editor for the JDPA and practices at the Vancouver Clinic in Vancouver, Washington.
