This conference has been designed for dermatologists, dermatology residents, oncologists, oncology fellows, primary care physicians, physicians involved in the care of patients with skin diseases, dermatology PAs, dermatology NPs, and students (medical, PA, NP).
Learning Objectives At the conclusion of this course, you will be able to:
Discern various options for managing skin cancer and actinic keratosis
Discuss the medical and surgical treatments for basal cell carcinoma.
Discuss the medical and surgical treatments for squamous cell carcinoma.
Discuss histopathology of melanoma and other skin cancers.
Discern different lesions with dermoscopy.
Evaluate older and newer therapies in atopic dermatitis.
Assess the various therapies available for acne.
Discuss the new treatments for psoriasis and how to choose between them.
Describe the concepts learned that can be incorporated directly into clinical practice.
