Dr. Jennifer L. Hsiao is a board-certified dermatologist, Clinical Associate Professor of Dermatology at the Keck School of Medicine of USC, and Co-Director of the Hidradenitis Suppurativa (HS) Specialty Clinic at Keck Medicine of USC and Los Angeles General Medical Center. Her clinical practice and research focus on chronic inflammatory skin conditions, clinical trials for novel hidradenitis suppurativa therapeutics, and the dermatologic management of pregnant and lactating patients.
A nationally recognized leader in inflammatory skin disease, Dr. Hsiao serves on the Board of Directors for the Hidradenitis Suppurativa Foundation (HSF) and as President-Elect of the Pacific Dermatologic Association (PDA). She has co-authored over 125 peer-reviewed publications covering hidradenitis suppurativa, acne, pyoderma gangrenosum, and atopic dermatitis, and is an active educator dedicated to training medical students and dermatology residents.
Dr. Hsiao earned her medical degree from the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF) School of Medicine. She completed her internal medicine internship with Kaiser Permanente Southern California and her dermatology residency at the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA.
