Bonnie A. Lee, MD

Dr. Bonnie Lee is an Associate Professor in the UC Irvine Departments of Dermatology and Pathology where her roles include Co-Director of Dermatopathology as well as Dermatology Residency Director.Prior to joining UC Irvine in 2019, Dr. Lee was the Managing Director of the Ackerman Academy of Dermatopathology in New York City, a large high volume commercial laboratory that is part of the Dermpath Diagnostics network, and a member of the dermatology faculty at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine.

Throughout her career, Dr. Lee has prioritized teaching dermatopathology to residents and fellows and is an invited editor of the Derm-In-Review study guide, and creator of an online lecture series that covers the dermatopathology curriculum.
