Hand sanitizer stations will be positioned throughout the meeting space and the frequency of cleaning and disinfecting of all public spaces in the hotel will be increased. All high traffic areas and key touch points-elevator landings, door handles, stairway handrails, lobby seating areas, will be frequently cleaned.
To ensure a safe environment, we strongly encourage all attendees to do the following:
Wear masks when attending any event associated with SDDS. Currently the state of California requires the use of face masks indoors.
Be fully vaccinated prior to attending the meeting
Follow good personal hygiene practices while onsite at the meeting
Practice self-monitoring & self-reporting
Follow the requirements of the host hotel that are in place at the time of the meeting
Not travel to or attend the meeting if you are sick or become sick
Take reasonable precautions to ensure your own comfort
Attendees must adhere to all infectious disease protocols in place during the event, including those imposed by SDDS, the venue, the county health department, and any state directives, and if they fail to do so, they could be asked to leave the symposium and the venue with no refund.
Can I bring a guest? Guests are not permitted to attend the educational sessions or special events. Guests are welcome to come and stay at the hotel with attendees.
