Dr. Alina Goldenberg is a board-certified dermatologist, partner at Dermatologist Medical Group of North County, and the Founder and Director of its Contact Dermatitis Clinic. She also serves as an Assistant Clinical Professor in the Department of Allergy and Immunology at UC San Diego, where she actively teaches and supervises dermatology and allergy residents and fellows. Her clinical expertise focuses on allergic contact dermatitis, comprehensive patch testing, cutaneous oncology, dermatologic surgery, and medical dermatology.
A dedicated clinical researcher, Dr. Goldenberg has authored over 50 peer-reviewed publications and multiple textbook chapters covering contact dermatitis, skin cancer, and laser therapeutics. Her academic work has been recognized with research grants and honors from prestigious organizations, including the National Institutes of Health (NIH) and the American Skin Association, as well as multi-year peer recognition as a regional Top Doctor in Dermatology.
Dr. Goldenberg graduated magna cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa from UC Berkeley with a degree in Public Health. She earned her medical degree and a Master’s in Clinical Research from UC San Diego School of Medicine, where she also completed her dermatology residency and served as Chief Resident.
