Dr. Charisse Orme is a board-certified medical dermatologist practicing at UC San Diego Health and an Associate Professor in the Department of Dermatology at the UC San Diego School of Medicine. In addition to delivering specialized patient care, she actively trains and mentors medical students, interns, and dermatology residents.
Dr. Orme focuses exclusively on complex medical dermatology and oncodermatology. Her clinical practice and research interests center on the diagnosis and management of cutaneous lymphoma, adverse medication reactions in the skin, autoimmune blistering diseases, and cutaneous connective tissue disorders.
Dr. Orme completed her undergraduate studies at the University of California, Davis. She earned her medical degree and a PhD in cell biology from Yale University School of Medicine through the Medical Scientist Training Program, followed by dermatology residency training at the New York University (NYU) School of Medicine and NYU Langone Medical Center.
