Who should attend? The Dermatology Therapeutics Symposium is an annual educational conference designed for dermatologists, dermatology residents, primary care physicians, physicians involved in the care of patients with skin diseases, dermatology physician assistants, and dermatology nurse practitioners.
How many hours of CME/CE does the Symposium offer? The symposium will offer 15 hours of AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™.
What is included in the meeting? The following is included in the registration fee:
Access to the educational sessions
Access to the exhibit hall to meet in person with industry partners
Access to industry supported product theaters
Meals during the symposium including breakfast on Saturday and Sunday, lunch on Friday, Saturday and Sunday, a reception on Friday evening, and breaks on Friday, Saturday and Sunday
The ability to claim CME/CE credit for the sessions you attended
COVID-19 Guidelines The Dermatology Therapeutics Symposium is committed to providing a healthy and safe environment for attendees. We will work to comply with the recommendations and guidelines set by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), the World Health Organization (WHO) and the county and state Departments of Health to keep our attendees safe. Hand sanitizer stations will be positioned throughout the meeting space and the frequency of cleaning and disinfecting of all public spaces in the hotel will be increased. All high traffic areas and key touch points-elevator landings, door handles, stairway handrails, lobby seating areas, will be frequently cleaned.
To ensure a safe environment, we strongly encourage all attendees to do the following:
Wear masks when attending any event associated with DIS
Be fully vaccinated prior to attending the meeting
Follow good personal hygiene practices while onsite at the meeting
Practice self-monitoring & self-reporting
Follow the requirements of the host hotel that are in place at the time of the meeting
Not travel to or attend the meeting if you are sick or become sick
Take reasonable precautions to ensure your own comfort
Attendees must adhere to all infectious disease protocols in place during the event, including those imposed by DTS, the venue, the county health department, and any state directives, and if they fail to do so, they could be asked to leave the symposium and the venue with no refund.
Can I bring a guest? Guests are not permitted to attend the educational sessions or special events. Guests are welcome to come and stay at the hotel with attendees.
What is the attire for the Symposium? Attire is business casual. The meeting rooms tend to be cool, so attendees are encouraged to bring a jacket or sweater while in sessions.
What is the cancellation policy for the Symposium? Cancellations received in writing 30 days prior to the start of the Symposium are accepted with a $50 processing fee. There will be no refunds for cancellations made less than 30 days prior to the start of the Symposium. Refunds will not be issued to no-show attendees. Substitutions are allowed with a processing fee of $50. All cancellation notifications must be made in writing to DTS@dermrefoundation.org. Phone cancellations will not be accepted.
