The 8th Annual San Diego Dermatology Symposium™ (SDDS 2027) delivers 13.5 hours of high-impact, evidence-based clinical education designed to translate cutting-edge clinical trial data and therapeutic developments directly into practice.
This educational activity is developed specifically for healthcare providers involved in the diagnosis, treatment, and management of cutaneous disease, including:
Board-certified and practicing dermatologists
Dermatology residents and clinical fellows

Upon completion of this educational activity, participants should be able to:
Evaluate novel and emerging targeted therapies for moderate-to-severe psoriasis and apply clinical decision-making strategies to sequence treatment effectively.
Differentiate the mechanisms of action, efficacy profiles, and safety data between conventional systemic agents and advanced biologic and small-molecule therapies for atopic dermatitis.
Formulate evidence-based diagnostic and treatment plans for non-melanoma skin cancers, precancerous lesions, and actinic keratoses using both lesion- and field-directed modalities.
Assess current and emerging topical, oral, and procedural interventions for the management of acne vulgaris and related follicular disorders.
Identify the clinical presentations and select appropriate antimicrobial and therapeutic regimens for bacterial, viral, fungal, and atypical cutaneous infections.
Develop comprehensive management strategies for complex disorders of pigmentation, non-scarring and scarring alopecias, and primary disorders of the nail unit.
Assess patient selection criteria, anatomical considerations, and risk-mitigation protocols for aesthetic procedures involving botulinum toxins and dermal fillers.
Translate current dermatologic clinical guidelines, diagnostic algorithms, and practical therapeutic insights directly into everyday clinical practice.
